Lets get down to brass tax. Its October, RoadBandit.com has been around since March of this year and I have very little to show for it. So it’s time to kick the tires and light the fires. First off, I gotta learn me some of this fancy shmancy social networking techniques that everyone is talking about. Just my luck the Blog World Expo was going on right off the strip at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Time to start learning before I can start earning.

Now I heard about the Blog World Expo from Daniel Honigman who is a social networking guru out of Chicago. I was hired on to do a live shot for Coveredge and he was the on-air talent. The subject was the ever changing news media and how social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook are changing the way we get our news and who gets it to you. After the shoot I told Daniel about Road Bandit and he told me Blog World was a must for me to attend. “Ok so Daniel you were absolutely, positively, without a shadow of a doubt RIGHT”.

Above is the one and only slide used for the Travel Blogging Conference that I was able to attend at Blog World. This one hour conference discussed techniques and tips for travel bloggers who are looking to improve: content, traffic and  revenue. I learned a ton of techniques and got a ton of contacts from professional bloggers that will help me get Road Bandit up and running properly. So was Blog World worth attending Randy?….Hellz Yeah!
