Misadventures in Utah!
The Road Bandits have finally worked their way out of Utah, and after 5 annulled marriages a piece, we’ve got some new footage to give you! To paint a backdrop for the new video, it was a cold and wet drive on UT-89 as we ventured south, into the darkness, toward the Arizona border. Snow was flying at the windshield so fast that we could actually begin to fathom the sensation of traveling at light speed. If you’ve ever trekked along highway 89 through southern Utah you’d know that there’s NOTHING there. Though we wanted to dock Betsy in a safe harbor for the night, we sure as hell weren’t putting her anywhere near the Bates Motel in the middle of nowhere. We pushed on.
Eventually, we came across an isolated rest stop and setup camp—a.k.a. parked. It was a strange, snowy, clear-skied night. We’re not too sure how a Utah night can actually pull something as bizarre as that off, but Hey! we’re open-minded.
In the morning, everything was normal enough. Will took Frosty (B) for a walk and decided that a white cat against a desert landscape would make some great footage. So, he scurried back to the RV to scoop up the video camera. When he returned, Frosty was gone. For the better part of 3 hours the Road Bandits spent valuable travel time locating a 17 year old, senile cat. We have to admit, had our caveman instincts overruled our judgment we just might have let nature run its course. But a Road Bandit never leaves a man behind! Even Misty (Bird) joined the search party and too lamented over our missing friend. How does it end? You’ll have to watch to find out!
Next stop: Flagstaff, AZ

Well don’t you know that cats are the spawn of Satan? Eight local children probably went missing while the colorless kitty was off in the wood.
well it’s a good thing there was no snow on the ground or you really would have had a hard time finding frosty!
Tell me please, how do I become a Road Bandit ?? I too want to drive around in a rusted out ^%@# bucket like yours, have a white cat that I name Pu^%$y, and be unemployed with bad credit. “Travel with another GUY? Are you kidding?!!” Please Road Bandits, let me join you soon!! P.S. I even own a red cape !!
Do you have the cats chipped? I travel with a German Short Hair, Zack, and a cat named Zoey. Both have been chipped so if I lose them, and they are found, hopefully a vet will wand them and discover the true owner. My cat refuses to wear a collar or harness, so I only hope she doesn’t get lost or if she does, she is found and returned.
Good luck on the trip.
