Check out his latest video which showcases tons of new countries dancing and enjoy life alongside him.
Today was August 24th and today was my day to tell the world what life was like to be Randy Primm. I signed up at the end of the year to participate in The3six5 Project, which is a project where 365 different people from all over the world, choose a day within the year and then blog about how that day went by for them. The project is run by Len Kendall and Daniel Honigman.
I met Daniel in Las Vegas when I was his cameraman for a live-shot about social media and how it will soon effect how we get our news. After the shoot I told Daniel about Road Bandit and he smiled and started telling me about places to look into for managing my blog. I hope to be in Vegas in Oct for the Blog Word Expo and to see Daniel and get to thank him in person for all the help and for letting me be a part of The3six5 Project.

Hello World! Its Randy the “Road Bandit” and I am back in Las Vegas for a week trying to put together a nice string of jobs and shoot some fun Road Bandit Videos before I head back to San Diego. Its been a crazy last couple of months with 100’s of miles covered while driving coast to coast with the one and only Jason Moffatt. I have had some great experiences and also some pretty shitty ones as well.
Right now I am in repair mode for both Roadbandit.com and my RV “Betsy”. She took a huge hit when I first hit the road with Mr. Moffatt when I had a rear tire blowout that tore the sewage holding tank in half which caused all my crap to spill all over a Texas highway. Poor AAA mechanic had to stick his head right under the tank to put on the spare tire and shockingly he didn’t seemed to mind the stench. Sorry Texas for shitting all over your highway and when I finally get my finances together I will adopt a highway spot to try and make it up to y’all. I am starting up a massive Road Bandit Marketing Campaign in the next coming days, so get ready for content daily and videos a plenty. The Road Bandit Project is fuel for my passion to keep on keeping on and every comment or suggestion I get lets me know you all care.
I have been in a weird state of mind lately and I’ve been searching for some motivation and inspiration to get me back on track. Last night I received both in the form of an e-mail from Jason Moffatt. The subject line was a very intriguing one. It read “You Gotta“, I of coursed opened it right away and read the following: “YouTube “Alby Mangels”…..“Dude was my hero about 15 years ago. We’d pretend to be Alby Mangels all the time.” After reading this I checked out the above video and after watching I realized that embracing your journey can really create magical moments. Alby …I’m taking notes.
Many moons ago my buddy Perry was telling about this great game called “Chicken Shit Bingo”. It takes place in a little dive called Ginny’s Little Longhorn Saloon in Austin Texas.
On Sunday’s, the Little Longhorn puts a plywood bingo sheet on top of a pool table. Then they put a wire chicken coup over the top and insert a bird. Anyone who wants to play bets $2 on a number on the board. When the bird shits, the person with the winning number takes the prize pool.
Pretty awesome huh? I thought so too.
In fact, I thought it was so awesome that I hopped onto Plenty Of Fish, (a free dating website) and attempted to score me a Valentines date for Chicken Shit Bingo.
SCORE! This girl was a sweetie all around!
The country western band rocked too. Seriously, they were superb. I love country music. Oh yeah, I almost got in a bar fight protecting a random lady from a drunken cowboy. That would of been pretty awesome for story telling.
My buddies Craig Allen and Couch Surfing Ori joined Randy and I as well. It was a all around great time. If you’re ever in Austin you gotta give this place a peek.
And if you’ll never be in Austin and just want to see a quick glimpse, here is a YouTube video I’ve snagged to give you a idea of what it’s like…. (Sorry, we didn’t shoot much footage)…
We arrived last night in New Orleans and luckily we got hooked up by Jason Moffatt’s buddy Chad Mac who got us into the coolest RV park near Bourbon Street. Now we aren’t just near everything, we are smack dab right in the middle of the biggest party of the year. Even though night hasn’t fallen yet in New Orleans… the party has already begun. We have been shooting tons of video with the help of Couch Surfing Ori who jumped on board with us and our goal tonight is to snag a great balcony spot and party likes its 2999!
Rachel Rofe is a inspiration to thousands of men and women for her adventurous spirit, her loving heart and her awesome ability to smile. Well the day has finally come and the Bandits are on the road again. I’m finally starting to experience life outside of a business parking lot and Jason Moffatt (MAH-FAT) is onboard and the bandits are finally Leaving Las Vegas. But before we headed out we checked out CoverEdge were I’ve been working since hitting the road.
Road Life has taught me more about life than the previous 24 years of my life did combined. But one lesson that I’ve learned that has cost me dearly so far is planning. Getting rid of all the responsibilities I had in the past and then jumping in an RV on the road has given me the freedom to do whatever I want. But with that freedom comes an even bigger responsibility of staying focused and determined on always moving forward. In society today we have a system in place where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Yes of course there are exceptions, but the main rule of thumb here is that for the most part, those who play the game keep winning and those who don’t play the game…well the game plays them.
So I recently checked out the famous Venice Beach in California and while there I saw a crowd off the boardwalk huddling around like they were having a meeting. Then out of nowhere they all began to scream and then it happened! The beat started and so did the freedom. The freedom to move, the freedom to groove and the freedom to approve!
Lets get down to brass tax. Its October, RoadBandit.com has been around since March of this year and I have very little to show for it. So it’s time to kick the tires and light the fires. First off, I gotta learn me some of this fancy shmancy social networking techniques that everyone is talking about. Just my luck the Blog World Expo was going on right off the strip at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Time to start learning before I can start earning.
