Ladies and Gentlemen Its official! Jason Moffatt will become a Road Bandit and hit the road with roadbandit.com starting mid January of 2010. So who is Jason Moffatt? How did I meet him and whats he gonna bring to table as the newest Road Bandit? Oh and just to be clear, Jason Moffatt is the guy giving the thumbs up and not the one-eyed asian guy to the right…just wanna clear that up:)
A while back I was working a Seattle Seahawk football game and a co-worker came up to me and asked me how I was doing, I replied “fine…just fine” he then smiled and replied back “It’s your world Randy and I’m just in it.” Now that saying has made more sense to me than any other I have heard since. Its true, this is my world, through my eyes and right now my world is upside down!
Lets get down to brass tax. Its October, RoadBandit.com has been around since March of this year and I have very little to show for it. So it’s time to kick the tires and light the fires. First off, I gotta learn me some of this fancy shmancy social networking techniques that everyone is talking about. Just my luck the Blog World Expo was going on right off the strip at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Time to start learning before I can start earning.
No this is not “Betsy” my RV. This is just a frightening reminder of how bad things could get. Given all the mistakes I have made and the opportunities I have let slip away… it definitely could be a lot worse.
Whats weird about naming my Cat “Bird”? Wouldn’t a Bird named “Cat” be even weirder? Well now that we got that out of the way its time to get some work done. But of course the only work I can get right now is in the middle of the desert. Why must Vegas be so crazy hot? Guess I will just have to deal with it while I finish up an HD Travel DVD of “Sin City” for a client. Once finished I will upload to Road Bandit for all to see. I can’t believe yesterday I woke up on the beaches of Cali and now I am parked right of of Las Vegas BLVD in 100 degree heat… If I only knew what I was doing.

First off, I gotta thank the behind-the-scenes Road Bandit crew. Theses two madmen have supported me since the start, and both have offered their talents in Photography and Video to bring you those impressive shots that I of course would never be able to do. Casey Fessler is a Photographer out of Las Vegas and about 90 % of the photos seen on roadbandit.com have come from him. You can check out all his work at www.propermonkey.com and if you like what ya see order up a couple of prints and he can get them to you ASAP. Scottie Minshall is also a Photographer/Videographer out of Las Vegas who is currently enrolled at UNLV partying it up. Scottie can be seen nightly at the Planet Hollywood shooting the Steve Wyrick Magic Show. Both of these guys have helped me out greatly so far on my journey, but they aren’t the only ones I need to be thanking.
You can’t fail at something unless you quit at it…right?
Well I don’t know how to quit and the only way failure will happen to me would have to be by death. I am a persistent person and even though I might not get it right the first time or even the second or third time…I eventually will.
It’s my last day in San Diego before I head to LA and today’s got awesomeness written all over it!
Its Official! Road Bandit has taken a turn for the Best and headed to none other than California. First stop is San Diego…the birth place of Randy Primm and one beautiful stop after being in the desert for over a month.
Its my final days here in Vegas before I head to San Diego…and its time to go all out. So I headed just off the strip to Vegas Indoor Skydiving.
Grab your helmets ladies and gentlemen. Its time for some ATV fun in the Nevada desert!
